High School Algebra I Information
Students who are enrolled in Algebra at Beaubien for the 2009/2010 school year will have the opportunity to be placed, at minimum, in Geometry during their freshman year in high school. In order for this to occur:
–The student must have a “C” average in Algebra during the school year.
–The student must meet minimum attendance requirements.
–The student must pass the Algebra Exit Exam at the end of the school year.
If they meet this criteria, they will be placed in Geometry (at minimum) during their freshman year of high school. Many of my students from last year were placed in Honors Geometry in their freshman year.
All students in Room 308 this year will be taking the Algebra Exit Exam at the end of the year.
If you have further questions about how the Algebra process works, please let me know.
